The City of Newcastle uses the Mercer Island Municipal Court to provide court services. The court is located on Mercer Island and is open to the public Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The court is closed weekdays 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Friday's and holidays.
