The City of Newcastle requires businesses selling to or serving Newcastle residents without a physical location in the city, and businesses located in Newcastle to maintain a City Business License. Nonprofits are not required to obtain a license, but must file an application for informational purposes.
The City has partnered with the Washington State Department of Licensing to issue business licenses. City licenses are added to your State Master License as an addendum and may be obtained either online or via mail.
